Actually it was by Mini. That's how I got home. As captured by my potato after I got down the street. Funny thing is that I didn't have any issues with getting home, but had to deal with idiots on sheet ice doing 40+MPH. Some of whom were driving semis.
But if you were going the other way, you had a long wait.
And the snow actually looks nice for now. Before it melts and re-freezes and I really don't leave my house.
Now I've only had four hours of sleep or so last night. I'm going to take a nap. Thanks to you who sympathized with me when I realized I would be sleeping on the floor at the office. You guys are awesome.

No pictures of you rallying in the snow?

I did do some donuts in the cul-de-sac, does that count?
No SR20, because cannot do donuts and potato at the same time.

MINIs are surprising decent in the snow. I tried to lose traction in mine (granted I have an LSD) and it just gripped the road, once I got out of the car I slipped three times on a level street trying to get to my house....

R53 then, yes? I don't think any of the R55/R56 series came with an LSD option from the factory outside of possibly the JCWs. I know there are aftermarket units if one wishes to go that way.
I did do a handbrake turn turning onto my street. Was very fun.

they had it for a few years on the r55/56 I think until mid cycle refresh in 09/10. it was a shame because it is an amazing feature on mine. and the jcws only do electronic LSDs now. I didnt even have snow tires (all season conti DWS) on mine when I tried this and roads were a good half inch of solid ice and didnt even get any wheel spin.

They now have electronic LSDs on the S as well with the R55/R56 LCI. Mine is an S, since I didn't feel like liquifying my spine with a JCW everyday.
I didn't have to deal with wheelspin until I decided to boot it, like an idiot. But the Contis worked well, although I would prefer to have some non-runflats.

getting rid of the runflats was the best thing I ever did in my life. those tires are so hard and offer so little grip in cold temps. granted a southern climate is fine for those cars as long as you don't ever get a freak snow storm. but what are the odds of that? ...oh wait haha

Hence why the Z4 I have already has Michelin Pilot Super Sports, and is not being driven in this crap.
It fixed the ride right up from the garbage Bridgestone RFTs.

but think of the hooning you could be doing right now!!! and yeah when I bought mine it had bridgestone RFTs with half tread even on a hot PA summer day I had shitty ride quality and subpar traction
